The present study investigates the relationship between psychoanalysis and dynamic psychology with respect to the domain of moral judgments and ethical concepts. The transition from morally justified behavior in the understanding of ethical actions to behavior explained by psychological and sociological causes reduces ethics to psychology or sociology if it deprives the moral agent of awareness and free choice. This issue assumes a distinct and challenging character in theories grounded in Freud's personal unconscious and Jung's collective unconscious. Dynamic psychology, through its reconstruction of psychoanalysis, offers an approach for preserving the domain of ethics. By analyzing this approach, the interaction between these two fields of knowledge is elucidated.
